I studied and trained at the University of Bradford in theory and practice of Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Behaviourist schools of counselling, in Psychology and Family Systems. I then gained a Graduate and Post-graduate diploma in counselling at Bretton Hall, University of Leeds in Rogerian, psychodynamic and transpersonal models.
Further training and certificates include Victim Support Schemes, Transactional Analysis 101, Non-violent (Compassionate) Communications, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Yorkshire Mesmac, Relate, Traumatic Incident Reduction (UK), Traumatic Grief. My background and experience includes several years counselling staff and students at the University of Bradford, working in the voluntary sector, in Employment services specialising in supporting clients with mental, emotional and physical disabilities. |

I worked for 8 years at Marie Stopes Clinics counselling for pre/post abortion, vasectomy,and women’s health issues. I have since worked for Employment Assistance Programmes and am currently sole counsellor for a large company in Bingley. I have been in private practice for 9 years seeing clients with all issues. I am based in Cullingworth village that is close to Keighley, Bingley, Shipley and Bradford.
I also practice from Skipton Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre, 14-16 Swadford Street, Skipton helping and supporting clients with all issues. I also offer a ‘peace of mind’ DNA testing service in conjunction with DNA Clinics, testing to establish true biological parents, grandparents,half and full siblings and court admissable tests.
